Warwickshire Young Voices offer a range of choirs for different age groups from Reception aged children right through to adults. All of these groups work within the WYV ethos of providing a first class music and vocal education to our singers within a fun environment and are open to anyone to join – with no auditions or previous experience necessary*.

WYV runs its choir activities on:
- Thursday evenings in Harbury, nr Southam (Harbury Primary School, CV33)
*(WYV Chamber choir is made up of members selected from within the Rising Stars choir)
This is the main body of the WYV choirs. Open to all children from year 2 right through to year 11, it allows for an amazingly rich and diverse choir who are known for their exceptionally high standard. During weekly 60 minute sessions, youngsters develop their voices and confidence through kodaly based activities, small group sessions and whole choir work on a wide-ranging repertoire. This group works on popular music and music written especially for them, including harmony, solo and small group singing. WYV Chamber Choir with members auditioned from the Rising Stars choir. The Chamber Choirs allow greater opportunity for progression, harmony singing and performances further afield. During weekly 45 minute sessions, Chamber Choir members learn to read from a printed score and have access to the ABRSM ‘Solo Voice’ and RSCM ‘Voice for Life’ syllabus for those members wishing to formalise their progression through external examinations.
